Cà chua rửa sạch bổ múi cau, thực hiện tương tự với hành tây. Thịt heo rửa sạch, thái miếng dày chừng 3mm ướp với nước tương và bột bắp trong vòng 30 phút. Sau thời gian ướp thịt cho thịt chiên vàng đều 2 mặt. Vớt ra để riêng.
Dùng lại cái chảo đó, thêm hành tây vào đảo cho hành chín tái thì cho cà chua và chút nước, thêm đường, muối và tương ớt Ketchup vào đun cho tới khi cà chua mềm. Lúc này cho thịt heo vào, đảo đều cho thịt heo ngấm sốt, đun chừng 2 phút thì tắt bếp.
Món thịt heo sốt quen thuộc chỉ cần 1 chút biến tấu đã trở nên lạ miệng và thơm ngon hơn nhiều. Múc thịt heo ra đĩa dùng nóng cùng cơm trắng rất ngon.
